Hello and welcome to Desk of Honoraries!!!

This is where all your needs of requesting, obtaining, and questioning the Honorary system in accordance to The Honorary Act of 1500 HE is made. Having different Honors gives different privileges within the Tiberiam Region. Of course, with those benefits comes greater responsibilities.

Currently the Honorary system is under watch. As in its benefits, responsibilities, and different honors could change over time.

The Honor is also displayed in the right side of the forum under the Roleplayer's name. It is really easy to distinguish.

Now without further ado, let's see what all the Honor system is all about!




Tiberiam currently acknowledges seven Honorary Titles, three of which can be obtained by this forum: Casual, Advanced, Honorary, APC, NPC, Isolationistic, and Anonymous.

The description of the three honor titles, as well as their responsibilities and benefits, is listed below.

Roleplaying Community

• Honorary Roleplayer
  • the Honorary Roleplayer is THE highest degree of honor you can receive in Tiberiam Roleplaying Community. This indicates that you have contributed greatly to the roleplaying community that you deserve the honor and the responsibility of being amongst the top roleplaying members.
  • Honorary Roleplayer’s Responsibilities
    • Moderating the Roleplay… and thus understanding the rules of Tiberiam RP.
    • Including newer Roleplayers into the RP in int’l and national threads
    • Starting at least ONE domestic (national) RP thread every RL month.
    • Updating database ONCE per RL month.
  • Benefits of being a Honorary Roleplayer
    • non-restricted expansions
    • Petition for TWO extra resource allocation of choice anywhere in the map... this benefit will, however, be reset should the HRPer lose the position.
    • extra voice (two votes instead of one) on EVERY SoC choices. However, second vote must be tossed via thread post or notified via TG or PM.
    • Privilege to become SoC should SoC leave lengthy period of time (approx. 1 RL month) without no notice or heir.
  • Criteria to become a Honorary Roleplayer
    • Meet Tier 3 Database Requirements
    • Fill out “Honorary Request Forum” Provided in the Department of Culture
    • Petition for the title in “Desk of Honoraries” thread in Department of Culture
    • To be ACTIVE in ROLEPLAYING community for 3~4 RL weeks
    • Final approval by Steward of Culture or other Honorary RPers
  
  
• Advanced Roleplayer
  • the Advanced Roleplayer is a roleplayer who takes roleplaying a tad bit more seriously than aCasual Roleplayer. He/she wants to stick around the Tiberiam Roleplaying a bit more, and experience the full potential of the Roleplaying Community.
  • Advanced Roleplayer’s Responsibilities
    • Update the Database at least ONCE every TWO RL months.
    • Be active: post in international thread at least ONCE a every RL month, ONCE in somewhere in Tiberiam every RL weeks
  • Benefits of being an Advanced Roleplayer
    • Able to get innovations/inventions approved for his/her country in “Desk of Patents and Innovations” in Department of Culture
    • Able to adopt an Anonymous from “Desk of Anonymous” in Office of Steward of Culture.
    • SLIGHT restricting in expansions.
    • Able to apply for leaders of technology in “Desk of Technology” in Office of Steward of Culture.
  • Criteria to become an Advanced Roleplayer
    • Database MUST meet requirement for Tier 2 Database
    • Stayed in the Roleplaying community for decent amount of time (2~3 weeks)
    • Must have roleplayed in AT LEAST ONE (1) international thread and THREE (3) domestic threads (CAN NOT be your own thread)
    • Request prestige in the “Desk of Honoraries” thread in Department of Culture.
    • Petition of request accepted by either the Steward of Culture, Honorary Roleplayer, or Administrator of the Forum.
  
  
• Casual Roleplayer
  • The newcomer to Tiberiam Roleplay. Those who are either starting up the RP or just do not take RP all that seriously.
  • Default Privilege of Casual Roleplayer
    • Be able to apply for a spot in the Roleplay
    • Able to Roleplay in both International AND National RP SubForums.
    • Make suggestions and comments to SoC in Department of Culture.
    • Apply for higher positions in the Tiberiam RP hierarchy.

Requesting for Honor

Now, we move onto how to request for honorary titles.

For Casual Roleplayers requesting to become an Advanced Roleplayer? Just ask. Post a comment here saying something along the lines of "May I have the Advanced RPer title?" and we shall see if you indeed deserve the title. Keep in mind, though, that we STILL expect you to fulfill all OTHER requirements of being an Advanced RPer.

For Advanced Roleplayers requesting to become an Honorary Roleplayer... well, the process is tad bit more difficult, because we KNOW that you can do better. Here is a small forum that you need to fill out and post in this thread. You will also need to have fulfilled all the requirements of becoming an Honorary Roleplayer first as well.

Neighboring country goes into civil war.
Within minutes of the reports coming into the I/O room, the office of the Executor of Oscalantine, the Executor immediately signals the different military sectors within the country to rouse the National Army. Meanwhile, several Corporate Army personnel are brought back from the field to Oscalantine to be given a new mission.
The Corporate-minded Oscalantine's objective is obvious: to make as much profit as possible. Oscalantine's National Army takes position within the strategic areas around the brawling country's borders, stating that Oscalantine government does not want refugees entering the region. Meanwhile, the Corporate Army members infiltrate into the country in the side of the revolutionaries; Oscalantine never really got along wit his neighboring country who produced the same IT goods as it did. They will work with the revolutionary factions to provide high-tech weapons of Oscalantine to help revolutionaries take over the country... and in return, Oscalantine will gain complete control over the country's economic sector.

Two of your rival countries are about to join hands to eliminate you
Given Oscalantine's stands as world's few superpowers, having one or two nations joining hands won't even faze this great nation. However, when it was noted that Imperial Overlord and Glorious Empire, two rivaling countries with heavy mindset in military technology, was joining hands, Oscalantine was forced into action. The Executor Nate knew that the situation won't look so bright if these two countries have joined hands. Oscalantine has been extorting them for years, buying off their raw resources for dirt cheap price while selling high=tech gears for ridiculous price-tags.
However, Oscalantine did have its allies. His leverage with Isis Rakael, the single-most powerful nation in Tiberiam, was still there. And Rakaelians won't give up on Oscalantine when they have invested so much into their projects. Oscalantine just needed to edge them on just a bit. There was no need for full war... just a declaration that Isis Rakael will be protecting Oscalantine. The Executor immediately grabbed his bags. He needed to travel to Isis Rakael to quickly resolve this problem.

An assassination attempt at your country's top leader has been found HOURS before its execution
Assassination attempt at the beloved Executor of Oscalantine seemed ridiculous. However, one could never be too sure, since the office of Executor was single-most important office in Oscalantine. After all, the Executor IS Oscalantine's economy.
Despite the protest from the Executor, who wanted to spend the night alone in his private summer house, the Stockholders' Council insisted that over fifty of Corporate Army members guard him until this situation has been resolved. Of course, the Executor protested vehemently. However, all this shinanigance was solved when Farnor Melcoba, the head of Melcoba Family, invited the Executor to stay in his manor until situation has been resolved. With that, the fifty or so Corporate Army members were instead sent to find the assassins, while the Executor will spend a pleasant time under the watch of Melcoba Family, the single most powerful entities in Oscalantine.

A well-known terrorist organization has kidnapped top celebrity of your country.
The kidnapping of Professor DeFrange was shocking to all of Oscalantine. The Executor himself was distressed that his favorite show stopped airing due to this kidnapping. The terrorists knew Oscalantine well, but not too well. Oscalantine has leverage with other terrorist organizations, and they had massive network of information, since they have been the network providers for different organizations for years. Oscalantine's major companies dropped into this tragic event like bounty hunters to massive bounty; finding the professor will serve to brighten their odds in winning the majority in next election, and perhaps enough to win enough favor to overturn the Executor, who has been serving Oscalantine for nearly a decade. The Executor himself decided to participate in this manhunt by finding out just which organization did this. And for eye for an eye, the Executor promised to retaliate to the terrorists not by bombing runs, but to send other terrorist organizations to the kidnapper's country to make the country's denizens suffer greatly. Oscalantine was twisted country full of bizarre practices... and the kidnappers have chosen their country very poorly.
